Why I Made This Web Site

This website is dedicated to helping people to manage their money better; a lot of people have asked why I made this site. Obviously there a lot of other sites that are dedicated to the same topic, the problem is that they rarely give you any advice that is useful. Instead they give you some vague advice that may or may not actually help you to deal with your problem.

The reason that I made this site is that it is pretty obvious that people need help when it comes to money management. The most important thing in this regard is that you need to set a budget that ensures that you are not spending more than you are making. It is really surprising how many people have no budget; most people don't even know how much they spend. This is a serious problem that needs to be addressed. Without a budget you really have no way of making sure that you are going to be able to save money.

The other big problem that people have is that they really don't save enough to meet their goals. Things like retirement or paying to send your kids to college are very expensive and many people really underestimate how much they are going to cost. The easiest way to save for these things is to start early but most people never do. They have this belief that there is always time and there is no rush to start saving. What usually happens is that time goes by a lot faster than they thought and they find themselves facing retirement with no savings.

Unfortunately this is something that a lot of people have problems with. Unfortunately the proper use of credit is rarely taught, at least not until it is too late and people are in debt trouble. This site aims to remedy that.
